The gallery space, a former café, served as the subject of investigation, an exhibit, and the exhibition venue. The architecture, the existing furnishings, and their depictions were brought into a direct relationship with one another—similar to the various levels of reality in BAGGER / DIGGER or HÜHNERSTALL / CHICKEN COOP, which were part of the exhibition in the foyer.
